The ruins of the Gothic Cimburk Castle from the 14th century are located in the middle of the Chřiby forests, near the town of Koryčany. Its restoration is carried out by the Polypeje association, which organises several cultural events for the public here throughout the year.
From the many reconstructions, a number of architectural details have been preserved, including the remains of a unique bay window chapel. Refreshments (drinks, packaged snacks, etc.) are available on site. At the castle’s fire pit, visitors can roast sausages they have brought with them.
